Khalsa Immersion

  • Selah Birth & Apoethecary 195 East 9 Mile Road Ferndale, MI, 48220 United States (map)

Monthly purification ceremony designed to encourage cosmic alignment, cultivate tools for transformation, connect to divine blueprint, create opportunity for communal collaboration and accountability to lead a life of purpose.

Guru Gobind Singh created the Sikh order, known as Khalsa -  to be a disciplined body of God’s own saints and soldiers, men and women of courage and dedication who would adhere to the highest codes of conduct and the highest morality.

“Khalsa” derives from an Arabic word “khakis” meaning “pure”.

In Christian culture, the word purity is often associated with the divinity of Mother Mary. However, patriarchal systems constitute said “purity” (as it pertains to women) with physical virginity.

In truth - the Virgin archetype is whole, belonging to herself, and impregnated with divine love. “She is who she is because that is who she is.” She is free of the dictates of family and culture. The Virgin reconciles all opposites within herself and has everything she needs within to bring new things to life.

The Khalsa Immersion was created to reconcile the essence of purity and virginity with sovereign power.

This event is open to all women seeking a deep and potent connection with themselves—not limited to mothers or those entering motherhood.

Tickets: $40

We look forward to sharing this sacred space with you.
